Gerard started out in the travel industry at P&O, progressing to management roles at various travel companies before deciding to start Bon Voyage Cruises & Travel in 1994. “After many years in the travel industry all with large companies it was time to start our own thing. We have always wanted Bon Voyage Cruises & Travel to have the best people so assembled a team we had worked with over the years.”

Jill is our travel guru and certainly deserves this title having over 30 years of travel experience, encompassing all the continents and more. It all began while Jill was travelling around Europe and working in the UK; she developed a taste for the travel industry. After returning from her extended OE (which included living in Italy for 2 years and travelling across Southern Africa), Jill decided to put her experience and knowledge to use embarking on her travel career in 1975 and later joining Bon Voyage Cruises & Travel in 1995.

Michele is another highly skilled and experienced travel consultant. She has worked in leisure and also the corporate travel arena as designated travel manager for some of New Zealand’s largest companies.

Tonia started in the travel industry over 30 years ago straight from school and inspired by living and touring the US as a child. Tonia has a wealth of knowledge having worked for Bon Voyage Cruises & Travel since it opened 14 years ago.
She enjoys regular trips to the South Pacific visiting honeymoon and wedding destinations as well as visiting family in Australia. Tonia’s most recent adventure was enjoying a Mediterranean Cruise where she took in the sights of Italy, Greece and Turkey- a real highlight. Having never been a history buff, she was overwhelmed by the History and Architecture of Rome, Pompeii and Mykonos- her most favourite spot.

Tamra is new to the travel industry, joining Bon Voyage Cruises & Travel with a background of sales, marketing and event coordination. As Marketing Assistant, Tamra’s main role is keeping our website content up to date and looking great!
