Heritage Adventurer carries 146 guests and 100 crew. Purpose-built for Polar exploration in 1991 at Finland's Rauma shipyard, she holds the highest passenger ship iceclass rating (1A Super) and an impressive history of Polar exploration, including records for the most northern and southern Arctic and Antarctic navigations and for traversing both the Northwest and Northeast Passages. A fleet of 14 Zodiacs supports her expedition programme, and her bridge is open to guests to watch the navigation team at work.
Dining is split between the main Dining Room and the more casual Bistro, which opens onto an outdoor deck, with occasional special events such as a Captain's Dinner. Guests can unwind in the Lounge, the Bar or the Library, and take in the views from the Observation Deck or the ship's open-air decks.
For wellbeing, Heritage Adventurer offers a sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool and sun deck, along with a gym.
