Norwegian Spirit carries 2,414 guests and 912 crew, and was built in 1998 before a major refurbishment completed in 2022. Smaller than Norwegian's newer vessels, she has a noticeably more intimate atmosphere, with every detail crafted for relaxation, from upgraded staterooms and stylish lounges to refined dining and calm, adult-only spaces. There are no waterslides or kids' clubs on board.

Dining spans 14 options, including two main dining rooms with a daily-changing menu and Chef's Signature Dishes, a help-yourself buffet, and a variety of casual cafes and grills, alongside specialty venues Cagney's Steakhouse and Onda by Scarpetta.

Bars and lounges include Magnum's Champagne & Wine Bar, the Great Outdoors Bar, Waves Pool Bar, The Local, and the adults-only Spice H2O, which transforms into an open-air dance party after dark. Maharajah's Casino offers table games and slots, and evenings bring live entertainment including Deal or No Deal, Blazing Boots and Famous Riffz.

For wellbeing, Mandara Spa offers a Thermal Suite, hot-stone massage and over 50 specialty treatments, including facials and acupuncture.
